My favourite part of the story is at the end when everyone is gathered in the Presence Chamber and they finally work out who the murderer was… but I won’t give that away! Considering the book is based about 410 year ago, we can assume that they are not around anymore! There wasn’t a Lady Grace Cavendish, although Mary Shelton, Mrs Champernowne and of course Queen Elizabeth, are all real people. They are all fictional books, but some characters are based on real life people.
